Sunkissed is perfect for all natural untreated hair colors and regrowth.
If you have dyed your hair darker and have a lighter regrowth Sunkissed is not suitable since it makes your hair lighter. If you have dyed your hair the last 2 months please drop us a DM on IG and our hairdresser Sofia will assist you personally (@LaHairColor)
Please note that:
Sunkissed makes hair up to 5 steps lighter. Therefor, if you have very dark regrowth compared to your lengths it will not get as bright as the rest of your hair. You then need to use bleech.
Sunkissed does not cover gray hairs. But if you only have partly gray hair it can blend in nicely with the lighter regrowth.

Wash your hair
Wash your hair with shampoo only. We recommend to wash it twice.
Towel dry your hair thoroughly
Mix the color
Mix the entire color tube with all the hydrogen in the color shaker. Then add tap water to the measuring cup. The standard is to use 15ml of water in the mixture (you can measure in the lid). Then screw the cap firmly.
Shake the shaker regularly for about 1 minute until a smooth cream is formed.
Apply the product
Blend the application into the growth on the scalp and neck first. The product works in a few minutes, so it's important to work quickly.
When the product is evenly distributed at the bottom, you can pull it out lengthwise if you wish. But if you have very light lengths, only put them at the bottom.
Let the product do its magic
When the product is working, you may feel a slight tingling sensation, which is completely normal.
The feeling can be reminiscent of an AHA treatment on the face.
Adjust after your hair
For the safest result, look in the mirror when coloring and scrape off color with your finger to see how the product works. If you see no difference, let the product sit for longer.
Everyone has such different conditions with hair quality, limescale in the water, product residues in the hair, etc.
Rinse
When you are satisfied with the result, just rinse out the color and wash your hair with your choice of shampoo and conditioner.
If you want to cool down the result, you can use silver shampoo before and after treatment.

Dark mouse-colored hair
For this type of starting point, mix in 20 ml of water for a less golden result.
For this type of starting point, it’s best to apply the product ONLY on the dark regrowth if the lengths are lighter than the base.
Section the hair from ear to ear and clip away the top section.
Start by applying the product at the nape of your neck. If the under layers are darker, you can apply the product to all of the under layers.
Once that’s done, release the top section and apply the product to the roots/regrowth. Massage it in and finish the application near the forehead for better control, as Sunkissed works quickly.
Note: For the safest result, it’s important to keep an eye on the processing time. Scrape off some color with your finger to see how the product is working. If nothing has happened, let it sit a little longer, as our processing times are general guidelines. But if it stays too long on hair that is at level 5-6, there’s a risk it could turn too golden.
When you see the darkest parts have lightened slightly, it’s time to rinse out.
If you also want to lighten the lengths a bit, apply the product there as the very last step, just before rinsing out. Do not let it sit too long on the lengths if they are blonde, as there’s a risk they could turn gray-blue.
Light mouse-colored hair

For this type of starting point, mix in 20 ml of water for a less golden result.
For this type of starting point, it’s best to apply the product ONLY to the dark regrowth. If the product gets on bleached white lengths, it can turn gray/blue.
Section the hair from ear to ear and clip away the top section. Start by applying at the nape of your neck first. If the under layers are darker, apply the product to all of the under layers. Once that’s done, release the top section and apply to the roots/regrowth. Massage it in and finish at the forehead, as Sunkissed works quickly.
Massage in and let it process for about 3 minutes after application.
Note: For the safest result, it’s important to monitor the processing time. Scrape off some color with your finger to check how the product is working. When you see the darkest parts have lightened slightly, it’s time to rinse out.

For these type of starting point, mix in 15-20 ml of water for a less golden result.
If you only want to lighten your roots:
For this type of starting point, it’s best to apply the product ONLY on the dark roots if the lengths are lighter than the base.
Start by applying at the nape of your neck and finish near the forehead. Massage in and let it work for about 10-13 minutes after application.
If you want to lighten all of your undyed dark hair:
Start the application in the lengths (about 5-10 cm from the roots, as the roots lighten much faster).
Massage the product into the lengths, starting at the nape of your neck and finishing at the front.
Let it sit for 10 minutes before you start applying at the roots. Let it sit for another 5-10 minutes, but keep an eye on it!
When you see the darkest areas have lightened, it’s time to rinse out.
Note: Sunkissed does not work on hair that has been dyed dark. It only works on naturally undyed dark hair, like a regrowth.

Massage the product into the lengths, starting at the nape of your neck and finishing at the front. Let it sit for 10 minutes before applying to the roots. Let it sit for an additional 5 minutes, but keep an eye on it!

For this type of starting point, mix in 10 ml of water for more gray tones and 15 ml of water for less gray tones.
For this type of starting point, it’s best to apply the product ONLY to the dark regrowth.
Start applying at the nape of your neck and in the darkest areas, finishing near the forehead. Massage it in and let it process for 5-10 minutes after application.
Note: For the safest result, it’s important to monitor the processing time. Scrape off some color with your finger to check how the product is working.
When you see the darkest areas have lightened, it’s time to rinse out.
If you also want to lighten the lengths, apply the product there as the very last step, just before rinsing it out. Do not let it process in the lengths. If they are white/blonde, there is a risk they will turn blue/gray, so it’s usually best to focus only on the roots.
Good to know! Sunkissed doesn’t cover gray hair but is transparent, so the gray will appear as highlights. The result is a soft and nice regrowth.
Note:This is NOT suitable if you’ve used a covering color before and have lighter gray regrowth with darker lengths!

Desde 2018, tengo mi propio salón, High Society, en Nybrogatan, Estocolmo. Tengo cinco años de formación como peluquera y colorista y he trabajado como técnica de color. Tras ver innumerables resultados desastrosos de gente que intentaba decolorarse o teñirse el pelo en casa o que usaba rubios en spray que lo dañaban, pensé que tenía que haber una solución mejor.
La idea de Sunkissed surgió durante la COVID-19 cuando una clienta preguntó si podía comprar tinte de salón para llevárselo a casa y aplicárselo ella misma, ya que era FÁCIL y RÁPIDO de usar, y los resultados eran fantásticos.
No fue fácil desarrollar un color de pelo profesional y ponerlo al alcance de todos, pero esa es otra historia :)
